‘World first’ study shows CBD oil has positive effect

Initial results confirm that CBD oil has positive effects on both golf performance and recovery, with eight out of ten participants reporting positive effects during the control period.

“The noise surrounding CBD can be difficult to penetrate, so providing consumers with credible, accurate information about the product and how it can affect their golf game for the better is very rewarding.

Key takeaways from the ongoing study, which will test participants from a variety of demographics, include:

• 82% of respondents said that existing injuries they had had improved or had a positive effect in the first half of the survey

• 77% of participants said their sleep quality, rest on the course, or recovery between rounds had improved since they started using CBD oil

• 75% of participants who struggled with injuries said they had fewer injury problems

• 79% of participants reported a positive impact on at least one element of their on-field performance and off-field recreation

The next step is a final survey of the participants, along with the analysis of quantitative golf performance data by Shot Scope, which tracked the performance of each participant on the course throughout the survey period.
