In a study examining the country’s most desirable property locations, Realtor.com found that home buyers are eager to move from urban centers to cheaper and less populated suburbs.

The website ranked its property hotspots based on two key criteria: 1) market demand, as measured by unique visitors per property on Realtor.com, and 2) sales speed of the market, as measured by the number of days a listing remains active on Realtor .com.
