New Season of Go Healthy for Good Tackles Sexual Health

“Sexual health,” replies Dr. When asked Nerida McKibben what is different about the new season of Go Healthy for Good. “Chronic fatigue, new exercise and diet sections, new format and oh, a really big new thing! All of our previous seasons were filmed in the United States. This time? We shot the show here in beautiful New Zealand! “

Does a Christian channel have anything to do with sex? Dr. McKibben smiles and says, “Look, I’m a doctor who specializes in women’s health, and all I know is that Christians, like everyone else … [their] Exchange of questions and problems with sex. Sex is part of a healthy life, but that means dealing with STIs, birth control, sexual problems and, of course, working towards an active sex life that is satisfactory for both people in a relationship. God created sex, so, more than anyone, Christians should speak openly and constructively about sex, advocating God’s ideal, and giving practical advice on how to deal with the realities we face. If you are wondering how we should do it, you have to get involved. “

Is Chronic Fatigue Really Just Depression? Dr. McKibben replies, “Of course, chronic fatigue is related to depression because when a person is chronically tired they often become depressed, but that doesn’t mean they are the same. Many illnesses correlate with depression because when we feel physically bad, it puts a strain on our mental health. Chronic fatigue is a unique diagnosis that requires special care. I wanted to address chronic fatigue on the show in a productive way that really explains the issues involved and gives hope. I’m so grateful to have a doctor this season who specializes in treating chronic fatigue. It’s one of the most important episodes we’ve ever done because it’s such a big problem.

“I said the show will be shot on location in New Zealand,” continues Dr. McKibben away. “I should add that the food and exercise segments are filmed in Australia. I hope you will forgive us! Seriously, we have great new hosts for the segments that viewers will love. And most of the show is filmed on location here in the Waikato District. What better setting for a healthy living show than the most beautiful country in the world with lots of local food from feijoas to New Zealand avocados? The show is distributed worldwide and as a Kiwi I am proud to share a little taste of our wonderful country with the world. “

Hope Channel New Zealand planned to do 13 episodes for the new season, but filming went so well that they made 16 episodes. The new season of Go Healthy for Good first aired on Hope Channel New Zealand on September 9th and plays every Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. After the broadcast, the program will also be made available on their website and Facebook page.

Dr. McKibben’s unique ability to teach God’s plan for us to enjoy happy, fulfilling, and healthy lives is not to be missed. Tune in and let your family and friends know about the new season – and stay healthy!
