LANDER, WYOMING, U.S., Sept. 15, 2021 /EINPresswire.com/ – Wyoming-based Travis Fauque is an entrepreneur based in the town of Lander, Fremont County. Passionate about personal development and with a focus on real estate investing, Fauque offers a trio of tips designed to help those looking to follow in his professional footsteps.

“Real estate is a great introduction to investing, and it can be surprisingly easy to get into,” says entrepreneur and investor Travis Fauque of his newly acquired investment property in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

The first of Fauque’s three real estate investment tips involves flipping real estate. “House flipping is perhaps the most obvious way to invest in real estate,” he explains.

According to the expert, this involves taking over older, mostly worn-out properties, renovating them and reselling them at a profit. “An accurate estimate of the repair costs is crucial,” he adds, “and in addition to capital, time must also be factored in.”

When the budget allows, Fauque recommends working with a trusted contractor or, when funds are scarce, doing most of the work in person. Quick turnaround, he points out, is often a top priority, especially when a person is paying a mortgage on the property that is being renovated and turned over.

Moving on, the Wyoming-based entrepreneur turns to his second piece of advice. “Invest in long-term income-generating rents,” says Fauque.

And if a person doesn’t have the capital, they can rent a room in their house, Fauque notes. “If you already own a property, renting a room is a less conventional way of capitalizing on your investment,” he adds.

Finally, the last of Travis Fauque’s trio of tips for investing in real estate is to save or use existing funds in an asset until they generate enough income to get funding from the bank. “Alternatively, you can partner with a trusted investor,” suggests Fauque, “while you keep up with the real estate market and do your own research.”

Travis Fauque recalls his early life as an aspiring entrepreneur

Travis Fauque was born in Lander, Wyoming, and found his feet as an entrepreneur at a young age. The businessman started out as a busboy in a local restaurant when he was only 14 years old.

At the same time, he also regularly mowed lawns in his family’s neighborhood as a bypass for pocket money. “My parents were always very supportive,” recalls Fauque, looking back, “they both knew that I had dreamed of one day becoming a successful entrepreneur.”

In addition to his ongoing business activities, Travis Fauque is currently enrolled at Laramie County Community College where he is completing an applied business administration degree.

Outside of work and study, Fauque regularly donates time to a variety of good causes, including his local church. He is also dedicated to continued personal development and enjoys following a number of popular motivational speakers.
